Four times a year this newsletter is published with articles from the EAMA officers. This is one f the ways that we can read about what is happening area-wide. This issue’s highlights include information about the upcoming annual meeting for the Easter Area. This important meeting will be held virtually via Zoom because of the cancellation of GEAR 2024 due to Hurricane Helene damage and FEMA taking over the fairgrounds in Fletcher NC. Other highlights hint at an upcoming announcement of a new EAMA President and that announcement was actually made yesterday. Gary Lyons, will fill that position effect immediately – look for a second post specifically about that on the website in a day or two (maybe sooner). You will also read that there is also a new chapter formed that we are welcoming to the Eastern Area… but I’m making you read the entire newsletter to find their name. Look at all the picture, Read in awe at Phillis Britz’s travels and the miles she and Eric what put on their coach just this past quarter – and drop them a note to tell them how much you appreciate their dedication these past few years.
