First Time Visitor Read Me

If you are not a first time visitor, skip to the end.

However,

If you are like most folks visiting a website for the first time, if we cannot grab your attention in the first few seconds, you’ll leave and most likely won’t return. I may have mislead you into clicking on this link, but if you didn’t you might have missed some news about the Family RVing Association Eastern Area that might have interested you.

Website Navigation links – Our drop down menus have several types of links:

Off-site Link – these take you to another site, like the FMCA link takes you to our international site in Cincinnati OH or

Window link – this link opens a ‘window’ on our site that then displays data that is actually located on another site (Area Chapter descriptions and Chapter Rallies are two examples)

Page Link – These are our most used links and these will take you to places such as our Eastern Area or Chapter Newsletters for instance.

Document Link – You will find ByLaws, Area Officers, GEAR registration forms and other static documents available that may not actually be under the Documents Menu

Sub-Category Dropdown Link– this type of link is intended to be a header for the various links that will be displayed as you move your cursor over them, such as the Ocean Lakes Map under the GEAR 2025 Menu

Combo Link – this may be both a sub-category drop down and me be a clickable link as well

Return to the Home Page – click this Graphic (found at the top left of each page) to take you back to the beginning:

Now, feel free to browse, check out our newest link that displays our Area Officers including the Regional VPs and their Chapter assignments or click on  Chapters’ Descriptions to see what they are all about.   Look at some of the Chapter Newsletters (some have not yet submitted any for publication on this website). Then look at the quarterly Area Newsletters and check out information on our once-a-year Great Eastern Area Rally (GEAR 2025) which is open to all members of FMCA regardless where they call home. Check out our link to the FMCA Welcome Video that is hosted on YouTube. Take some time to see what is happening around the Eastern Area then make plans to join us…
