October 2, 2024 – – Due to the destructive nature of Hurricane Helene on Friday, September 27, which impacted many of our members who had registered to attend as well as the WNC Ag Center which has now been designated as both an emergency shelter and a FEMA distribution center, EAMA board members have elected to cancel G.E.A.R. 2024. The EAMA board has decided to waive any cancellation fees (i.e. the FMCA $25 fee) for members who cancelled on or after September 27 because of the hurricane. You need not contact FMCA directly. Please allow 2-3 weeks for Full Refunds to be received in the same form as your payment was made.
Look for a more detailed announcement on or before Friday, October 4, 2024 which will be e-mailed to all who had registered for GEAR.
